wow, i didn't realize i haven't posted for a really long time! well, for one thing, my computer totally broke on me! i turned it on one day after getting home from work and it was the blue screen of death! so long story short, my neighbor terry helped me fix it.. we had to reinstall windows and everything. and now my dvd player won't work... :( i don't know anything about codec.april first was graduation.. it is a LOT different from graduation at home. for one thing, it is in the gym and it was FREEZING. so that was 2 hours of freezing in the gym. it is very serious... a lot of standing up, bowing, sitting back down, even for us teachers and the parents. there's no cheering, and hardly any clapping. just when the gradutes enter and leave, there is clapping. the students wear their school uniforms, nothing special, and the stack of diplomas is received by one representative from each of the 7 classes... i guess they distribute them in class? after graduation, many seniors are still at school! they are studying for entrance exams or interviews. sucks to be a student in japan! other than that, nothing much going on. the weather was warm last week.. so nice! as in i could wear only 1 jacket and ride bike without gloves. i think it was around 55 or 60 degrees. but then it turned back into winter and snowed yesterday. what's up?! it's still cold today.going back home in a few days... so excited! this week i think i'll just be shopping getting stuff to take home and all that.pretty much it for now... kind of a catchup post i guess.. sorry so boring!
