Hawaiian New Year's Party!!

We had a Hawaiian New Year's party with our English club, bringing the joys of spam musubi, haupia, li hing apples, furikake linguine salad, chocolate mochi, and butter mochi to japan. they loved it! here are some pictures. most of the club members are all jr. high school girls, and they were really excited to cook. i made some handouts explaining how to make the mochis and musubis and they did pretty much everything. turned out pretty ono =) afterwards, we did the huki lau. all pau!
