just realized i haven't updated in a while. nothing much going on school wise. but tomorrow is our bounenkai-- end of the year party-- for the teachers. i will be part of the entertainment for the evening. 2 other teachers and i are doing a dance that we learned in our dance aerobics class-- "hey mickey". mmhmm. i really need to practice! haven't done that dance in a few weeks and i forget already!!
you probably know the song -- "hey mickey you're so fine..."
but we're doing the japanese verison-- "oahu it's so fine, it's so fine my waikiki..."
should be interesting. oh yeah, and we're going to wear santa-girl outfits. hope it goes alright!
am really looking forward to going home next week! about 9 more days left...
last night it was 45 degrees outside, and about 57 degrees in my apartment. too cold for me! today i have on 4 layers of clothes.. don't know how many more layers i can add and still be able to put my arms down. brrr....
ps. happy birthday matt!

That dance sounds pretty awesome. You're my oahu...may waikiki? Interesting.... and Santa girl outfits?? Is it gonna be the kine where Ms. Santa is like being naughty? If so I would like some pictures, and if not I would still want some pics. Even a video if possible. I believe that your camera can do small clips. Ok deal? Deal!! Talk to you soon...
haha... well... the santa girl outfits are not so much naughty as they are FRUMPY. hehe... but as requested, i will try and get some pictures. just tried on the costume this morning. it's red (of course) but instead of white fur trim (like normal), the trim is this leopard print fur. and there are 4 "decorative" "buttons" on the front only they aren't buttons, they are BIG pompoms made of that same leopard fur.. and they don't go down the front (like you'd think) but instead are arranged in a square in the middle of the top part. i don't get it!
we practiced during 5th period. i'm not ready yet! well hopefully all the teachers will have had lots of beer by then so they won't notice if i'm moving the opposite way from everyone else, just standing there looking lost, etc. :) we'll see how it goes tonight!
pictures to come...
