cosmos
these flowers are called "cosmos". they only bloom in autumn. lisa and i biked down to the river by our place because the are planted all along the bank. so pretty!

Wow the flowers do look pretty/ I guess we have them heere to but we just never notice them. Cosmos are my mom's favorite flower. I dunno why though... they just look like daisies that ate going bald. Hee hee
haha, u probably don't notice them in kyoto cuz there's so much other cool stuff going on! i think flowers are the most exciting thing that happens around here. at least that's my guess since they even put the cosmos on the manhole covers =)
