cake class #1

took a cake class this past weekend... it was so cool! for one thing, the cake teacher has her own little cottage... just for cooking in and having people over i think! it's all wood and is decorated with all these french things. and it has a loft! ahh..and there's fresh flowers everywhere. i'd love to have my own cottage like this. before we got there, we walked around her garden, looking at all the spring flowers. so pretty! and then this dog found us and was just cruising. it was cute... looked like he was smiling. maybe because it's spring ;)
we made cheesecake and these other desserts that i can't remember the name, but they are the roundy looking things in the picture. each cookie is sandwiched together with hazelnut butter. mmm.....
