sashimi

this past friday, my friend yoko treated us all to dinner at this really awesome sushi restaurant. there must have been about 7 or 8 courses. everything was SO GOOD and just amazingly presented. this was the sashimi dish. the sashimi on the right was cut into the shape of a chrysanthemum and seared on the edges.. and there was a stalk of lavender shiso flowers right in the middle too. so pretty! i'm gonna miss this food!
