kanda high school

today visited kanda technical high school, which is where i'll be teaching every wednesday. we took a short tour of the school, and i met some of the other teachers and staff workers. you can check out the photos from the tour here. in kanda there are 3 areas of study which are electrical engineering, mechanics, and IT. it was funny because when i met 2 of the computer science teachers, they asked me what my major was and when i said computer science, they got so excited. i think they think they're getting an assistant, or someone who actually knows something about computer science... uh oh... ! got home around 4 and pretty much bummed around after that. oh, but i did do something productive-- installed my new toilet seat that i bought yesterday. i think that was the best 2000 yen i spent so far. click here or on photo album link at right for more picture sfrom kanda h.s.
